IHI provides a wide series of compact and packaged machinery required at the plants as an utility, such as separators, filters, and dewatering equipment used to separate solid substances from liquid, and compressors used as air supplied at various plants.
IHI has manufactured custom-made compressors for years, and our compressors for oxygen plants and LNG plants dominate the market in Japan.
IHI produces an extensive lineup of turbochargers for use in large marine engines, land-base power generator engines, and for compact automobile engines in series.
So far we have already produced more than 32 million turbocharger/supercharger units for automobiles. IHI is also expanding worldwide business, with factories and sales offices located in the U.S.A., Europe, Thailand, China, and other countries.
Multi-piled disc dehydrator
Using a unique, environmentally gentle design, this dehydrator produces very little noise, vibration and odor. Our product line-up includes a machine having a width of 2 m, the widest in the industry.
Guinard centrifuge
A Guinard centrifuge is an upright automated discharge centrifuge filtering machine used to separate crystals and resins.
Leaf filter
Vertical filtering leaf that enables full closure and fully automated operation without human intervention. Cake cleaning and filtering of residual liquid is enabled.
Oil-free screw compressor (GP series)
New generation water-flooded (lubricated) system, providing oil free air, realizes better efficiency and environmentally friendly screw compressor.
Turbo compressor (TRE series)
Realized high efficiency and energy saving operation with newly developed efficient impellers, inlet guide vane, and dual control method. Installation space was drastically reduced with the integrated casing.
Process turbo compressor
Highly efficient geared type is developed and supplied for air separator (separating air into nitrogen, oxygen, and argon) as the main target.
BOG compressor
IHI is a top manufacturer of LNG reciprocating compressors, used to compress and re-liquefy boiled-off gas and send it through pressurized transfer lines.
Turbocharger for automobiles
IHI manufactures all series of turbochargers for automobiles, from small models for compacts to large versions for buses and trucks. Our accumulated production exceeds far beyond 32 million units.
