IHI Marine United Inc. is a company newly established on 1st October 2002 as a result of diversting shipbuilding and offshore business of IHI to the naval ship related business integration which took place earlier between IHI and Sumitomo Heavy Industries,Ltd.(SHI) formerly known as Marine United Inc.
